You know, it’s not often a series can get better and better with each book – especially if the first is so good to begin with.
My respect for Suzanne Collins as an incredibly engaging youth writer has grown so much while reading the Gregor series – and this book is (and I know I said this about the last one) the best of the series in my opinion. Less about an obscure prophecy (at least, that we know) and more about the individuals of the story.
I’m already making plans to purchase this set (I’ve been reading library copies) and cannot wait to introduce my nephew to them. Great fun for children and adults alike.
