Whew! What a week it’s been. So busy with running errands, shuffling kids around back and forth to school and just living life! I’ve not gotten the reading in I want to but plan to make up for that this weekend. A few noteworthy things here:
- I finally got off my duff and went to my local Barnes and Noble for the book club meeting covering Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. We had a great discussion and are supposed to come back next month with some recommendations for books (both new and classics!). I think I’ll be submitting The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. What do you think?
- This upcoming week I’ve got two, yes TWO, blog tours on the calendar. I’ve been anxiously staring at these books and am ready to go!
- I have a few contests going on. The first is my March Giveaway – be sure to drop a comment there and make sure you not only tell me what your top wishlist book is..but WHY it is! See, this is me being sneaky and figuring out what books I need to add to my TBR list (like it needs to get any bigger!)
- Also, stop by on my Pick my Reading List post and give me some suggestions. Come on – you know you’ve always wanted to make someone read a favorite book of yours.. this is your chance =)
- Jennifer at Crazy-For-Books is hosting the weekly Book Blogger Hop. This is a great way to check out other blogs out there and add them to your reading list. I’ve visited about half a dozen today and been happily adding away. I love discovering new blogs!
