It’s Monday, what are you reading?

This meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

How is it the start of a new week already?  I’ve been buried beneath thinking up various theses for papers due this week and next, reading like crazy, pledging a sorority, playing for recital + rehearsals… life has been CRAZY!

A nice selection of books here. I just finished an A S Byatt and found it unusual. this is a new one for me.

Byatt is unusual – but the words and her phrasing is oh so beautiful.

This weekend we went on a mini-vacation. Since I was outside enjoying nature, I didn’t get much reading done. Please stop by to see what I’m reading now.

Nice selection of books. I remember finding The Turn of the Screw really scary. My week report is here. Happy reading!

  12. I read The Darlings last week and enjoyed it. You must be burning the candle at both ends. Don’t let yourself get too overwhelmed, oops, mother’s tone coming out there :)

I’m in love with the cover of The Darlings. Hope you have a wonderful week.

  14. Ragnarok!! I just reviewed that one and it seems I liked it more than you did. I agree with you about it having a clinical feel; it definitely wasn’t a book to be read for the characters. But, oh that writing. So beautiful.

    Here’s what I’m reading!

  15. LOVE the cover of Allegiance! Hope you have a great reading week!

  17. I’m excited to see that Allegiance is finally out! I’ve been waiting for that one for years!!!

Looking forward to your review of The Dressmaker…I read it last year and liked it.
