Reviews and Book Chat with Lydia Presley

It’s Monday, what are you reading?

This meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

Wow – I haven’t done one of these since February – I completely blame school for that, but the good news is my Junior Recital is done, and I’ve finished the semester with the coveted 4.0!  Now that the summer is spread out before me in all its glory I have a LOT of reading to catch up on!

  1. Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter
  2. The Bellwether Revivals by Benjamin Wood
  3. Emerald City Dreamer by Luna Lindsey
  4. Clara and Mr. Tiffany by Susan Vreeland
  5. Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver
  6. Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings
  7. Queen of Sorcery by David Eddings
  8. Magicians Gambit by David Eddings
Books reviewed this past week:
  1. The Obsidian Blade by Pete Hautman
  2. Irises by Francisco X. Stork
  3. Freeheads by Kerry Nietz

  1. I love the cover of Railsea and adore the David Eddings book. I’m a fantasy fan who loves David Eddings and Terry Brooks despite what others say about them. Have a great week.

    • I love David Eddings – and I have Terry Brooks on the list soon too! Can’t wait to dive into Mieville too, his books have been on my to-read list for a while now.

  2. Wow,that is a lot of books for 1 week!! I guess you ARE catching up. That sounds nice – things here are still very busy.

My husband loves the Eddings series, and my son enjoyed it also.

    Enjoy your books this week!

    • Thanks for stopping by! Loving the Eddings as well … and it’s nice to have nothing on the schedule except for reading! =)

  3. Congrats on your results and well done on the awesome reading week!

  5. Shadow and Bone and that China Mieville books look AMAZING!

  6. The Susan Vreeland book is on my TBR. I’m posting my review of Railsea tomorrow.

My favorite read last week was the audio of On the Beach by Nevil Shute. Please come see what else I’m reading.
