I struggled with wanting to read this week – but am very much looking forward to Armchair BEA (and wishing I could be there in person!). I’m also considering holding my own personal read-a-thon this upcoming weekend… mostly to keep away from playing Sims 3, which has been troublesome, addiction-wise, for me this past week.

I’m curious about Rules of Civility and I’ve heard that The Paris Wife is excellent. Abdication sounds interesting and is a timely pick with the Queen celebrating her Diamond Jubilee which might not have happened if her uncle hadn’t abdicated. It’s received mixed reviews so I look forward to hearing what you think of it.
I liked your review of Shadow and Bone. I’ve seen mixed reviews for that one but I might give it a try anyway when my library gets a copy.
I read Sweetie by Kate M. and loved it, will have to try family graces.
I like the look of your reading list…and as for books read, I’m off to check some reviews.

I’ve been hearing a lot about The Paris Wife. I think I’ll add that to my list of books to check out.
