It’s Monday, what are you reading?

This meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

Holy cow – I did a LOT of reading this week.  I completely blame my insane amount of reading on an insane amount of good books to read.  Seriously, I wanted to jump from one book to the next because I was so excited to get to it all!

In addition to my reading, I’ve been working on a complete overhaul of my bookshelves.  To that end – be watching for a post to be put up this week as I have ARCs and books to give away!  And I also purchased these adorable chalkboard signs to put on my shelves!

Books I’ve read this past week (Links to reviews):

  1. Cold Light by Traci Slatton
  2. Goddess Interrupted by Aimee Carter
  3. Erebos by Ursula Poznanski
  4. Never Tell by Alafair Burke

  1. Great books! I want to read The Sandcastle Girls and The Chaperone. I’m also curious about Imperfect Bliss.

    • The Sandcastle Girls is in my top five for the year, for sure. Such a fantastic book, and I think it’s one of Bohjalian’s best ones.

  2. I read Goddess Interrupted and enjoyed it. It looks like you had a productive week. Happy reading next week!

  3. You did read a lot!!! Wow! I am looking at a complete overhaul with my shelves too… I am hoping to know more this week!

  5. Tell the Wolves I’m Home looks interesting. My favorite read last week was Body and Soul by Stacey Kade. Please come see what else I’m reading.

  6. Holy Cow is right LOL. Everyone seems to be reading The Flight Of Gemma Hardy. I’m looking forward to your reviews of The Sandcastle Girls and Goddess Interrupted.
Have another wonderful week and happy reading :)

  7. I’m not familiar with your books this week, but if they are as good as you mentioned, I’m going to have to check them out.

I have to do some organizing of my bookshelves, too! They are slowly getting out of hand! I had been having monthly giveaways that were from books on my shelves that I had finally gotten around to reading – some review books and some books I had picked up along the way but didn’t want to keep. I really need to get back to doing that!

I like the idea of the chalkboard signs. Would love to see how they look on your bookshelves!

    Have a great week!

What are YOU reading @ The Brunette Librarian??

  12. I haven’t read It since it first came out. I was actually probably a little too young to read it then, but I really did enjoy it. I wonder what I would think of it now.

  13. So many amazing books!! I’m always so impressed on how much you read, but this week you not only outdid yourself on quantity, you outdid yourself on QUALITY…looking forward to reviews!!!
